Position Details
As a strategic officer of the Financial Business Supervisory Department , we would like you to be in charge of the following operations.
Global and domestic FinTech trends research and analysis:
Continuously investigate the latest technologies, business models, regulatory trends, etc., and identify impacts and opportunities for Rakuten FinTech business
Competition Analysis and Strategic Implications:
Develops strategic ideas that contribute to building Rakuten's advantage by deeply analyzing the strategies, products, and customer trends of domestic and overseas telecommunications FinTech Groups and major competitors
Pitch and Proposal for Next-Generation FinTech Strategies:
Based on surveys and analyses, innovative strategies that will shape the future of Rakuten FinTech Company are specifically formulated and proposed through presentations to management
New Business/Service Planning Support:
Supports planning and feasibility study of specific new businesses and services based on the strategy formulated
Work Environment
Background of Mid-career Employees
People who have experienced each financial business such as banks, securities, insurance, cards, payment business
Career path of mid-career employees who are active
As the new department was established in April 2025, the actual career paths will be seen in the future
Mandatory Qualifications
If you have any of the following experiences (approximately 1-3 years)
Experience of assistants, research analysts, etc. at strategic consulting firms
Experience in research and analysis in the corporate planning department of a business company and in the new business development department
Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning in the financial industry
Desired Qualifications
Fundamental knowledge on strong interest in and interest in the fintech field, and the latest technological trends (AI, blockchain, etc.)
Advanced utilization skills of data analysis tools (Excel, etc.) and presentation tools (PowerPoint, etc.)
