Investment Risk Analytics services, provides industry leading technology, robust market risk analytics and reporting services supporting institutional investment managers, such as risk managers, compliance office, boards, portfolio managers and investors.
Who are we looking for
Product Commercialization, VP, is responsible for driving advocacy efforts of existing and new investment analytics servicing products within Japan. The candidate will engage with internal and external clients to fully understand the Japanese market, competitive landscape, trends, and business needs, including offshore fund growth initiatives. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills (English and Japanese), a solid understanding of market risk analytics, liquidity analytics, and ESG data. The candidate will implement a consultative approach to construct solutions with a focus to drive revenue.
Job Description
Product Commercialization, VP, is responsible for driving advocacy efforts of existing and new investment analytics servicing products. The candidate will engage with internal and external clients to fully understand the Japanese market, competitive landscape, trends, and business needs, including offshore fund growth initiatives. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of market risk analytics, liquidity analytics, and ESG data. The candidate will implement a consultative approach to construct solutions and drive revenue.
Job Responsibilities
- Engage and understand the risk analytics industry and competitive positioning.
- Drive new business process including deal pricing, RFP responses, presentations, and develop materials to support drive revenue growth.
- Actively participate &, promoting our brand through thought leadership.
- Develop subject matter expertise with respect to the product suite and remain close to the customer segment through client interaction to assure satisfaction and relevance of the product to customers evolving needs.
- Develop key relationships, both internally and externally, to continue advancement of our product suite.
- Collaborate with sales, client relationship, product development and finance during the sales process to deliver high quality and compelling client proposals in order to win new business mandates.
- Communication of product strategy, including market requirements and opportunities to both internal and external audiences.
- Participate in internal sales and product development working groups.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop relationships inside and outside of an organization
- Strong language skills in both Japanese and English Required
- Investment and analytical background
- Ability to conduct meetings with senior level clients and prospects and engage in needs identification
- Ability to create compelling demonstrations that display our value proposition
- Ability to travel for client meetings, industry events or to other State Street locations up to % of the time.
- MBA, CFA or CIPM preferred, not required.
- 5+ years of related experience (consulting, investment analytics, solution sales & implementation)
