About the location:
The 123-room Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto is the company's second destination in Japan, in the city's historic Higashiyama-ku district, close to the Kyoto National Museum and myriad heritage sites such as the Toyokuni Shrine and Kiyomizu Temple. Local artists are featured throughout the traditionally-inspired modern décor characterised by an understated Japanese aesthetic. The Hotel has a spa and fitness centre with a pool, and four food and beverage concepts. There are also be 57 Four Seasons Private Residences.The Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto is looking for an Public Relations & Communications Coordinator. Candidates with passion for excellence, expertise in hospitality operations and proven leadership experience are invited to apply for a career with Four Seasons. The Public Relations & Communications Coordinator works across disciplines to deliver an exceptional experience.
Successful Candidate requires a legal work authorization in Japan, and has an ability to read, speak and write both Japanese and English.
Responsibilities
The Public Relations & Communications Coordinator supports the Director of Public Relations & Communications Director and the entire PR & Communications Department with a wide range of communication and organizational needs.
• Attend internal meetings for Food & Beverage, Catering, Spa, and Rooms and will be actively involved in maintaining communication and promotional calendars for each department
• Assist in the development of hotel promotions, advertising, e-direct mail pieces, newsletters and collateral (lobby reader board screens, promotional offer cards and signage) are in keeping with Four Seasons image and reflect the highest level of professionalism in content and presentation
• Coordinate the appearance and maintain storage of all Hotel print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, in-room collateral, etc
• Assist in creating monthly, quarterly and annual PR & Communication summary reports
• Assist in maintenance of the Hotel email databases
• Maintain the storage of all Brand guidelines, communication toolkits, and agency PR strategic plans
• Manage and ensure up-to-date information for Hotel on Preferred Partner, Virtuoso, etc.
• Assist with media events, journalist and influencer stays, and press trips such as by assembling press kits, sending photos, creating itineraries, making reservations
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Marketing and Director of PR & Communications
