Job Purpose
This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, and comfortable work environment across the company's owned and leased office properties in Japan.
This role plays a key part in the strategic and operational management of facilities including maintenance planning, vendor coordination, and office layout improvements to enhance the overall quality and functionality of the workplace.
Job Responsibilities
Manage the-day-to day operations through vendor management for owned and leased office facilities.
Develop and execute annual facility and infrastructure maintenance / improvement plans.
Select, supervise and evaluate external vendors and contractors.
Monitor and optimize building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) to ensure operational efficiency.
Manage facility budget and forecast, including cost tracking and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with safety environmental and building regulations.
Collaborate with global and local facility management teams to align with corporate standards.
Prepare and deliver facility-related reports and communications in English.

Required Skills and Experiences
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's Degree
Specific Qualifications
Business level English and native level Japanese proficiency (both written and verbal)
Total Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in facility management, building operations or related fields.
Working knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and great team player, with the ability to communicate effectively with impact across functions.
