Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and performance of our software products. This role demands a keen understanding of software development processes and strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts using appropriate testing tools and frameworks.
- Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify bugs and performance issues.
- Collaborate with software developers and project managers to understand product functionalities and provide feedback.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and test cases.
- Analyze test results and provide clear and concise reports to stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to quality assurance practices within the team.
- Stay updated on emerging testing tools and techniques to improve automation processes.
- Provide support for manual testing when necessary and assist in the creation of test plans.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in test automation development and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong business communication skills in Japanese (N1 level).
Desired Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing and automation.
- Hands-on experience in performance testing and security testing is a plus.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or SVN.
- Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
