Are you ready to take on a leadership role at the forefront of the gaming and entertainment industry? Unity Technologies Japan K.K. seeks a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our VIP customer accounts within the global Strategic Partner Support Team. In this senior leadership position, you will play a vital role in the global Unity Customer Success Operations organization, addressing complex challenges game developers face and guiding them to achieve their success goals.
As the Sr. Manager of the department, you will manage and mentor a middle-size group, ensuring they provide exceptional technical support and consultations to our strategic partners. You will cultivate and maintain strong business relationships with VIP customers, directly influencing the direction of the organization by reporting to the VP. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with various of Unity's internal teams to share useful customer feedback and enhance our products and services.
This position serves as a critical link between game development partners and Unity, ensuring seamless communication and effective solutions. What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and mentoring a team to provide technical support and consultations to our strategic partners, including platform owners and key software developers.
- Collaborating with internal Unity teams, key developers, and clients on technical solutions.
- Cultivating and maintaining strong business relationships with VIP customers in the gaming and entertainment industry.
- Designing and producing customized technical consulting and support service products for strategic partners.
What We're Looking For
- Proven strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to develop career paths for team members.
- Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
- Deep knowledge of global video game and entertainment business trends and history. Familiarity with international business protocols and culture gaps, especially between Japan, US, and EU.
- Strong communication and excellent presentation skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.Professional proficiency in English and Japanese.
- B2B consulting experience in relevant industries (gaming/entertainment, software development, etc.)
- Reporting directly to the VP of the organization to drive business direction and work with staff on service issues.Collaborating with Unity's engine R&D team and clients to establish platform engine release management procedures.
You might also have
- Work experience with multi-region game developers or publishers.
- Experience in game or software development in a leadership role.
- Management or director experience in small to mid-sized organizations.
