Join our team in Aman Tokyo. From the heights of the Otemachi Tower, Aman Tokyo tempers urban dynamism with a profound atmosphere of serenity. Inspired by Japanese design tradition, with ikebana displays, washi paper doors and engawa platforms, the vast lobby, ryokan-style rooms and Aman Spa are all among the city's largest.
Role
Under the supervision of the Chief Concierge / Assistant Chief Concierge / Senior Concierge, the Concierge is responsible for ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction in accordance with the Policy and Procedure and Standard Operating Procedures Manual and Guideline established by the hotel or the corporate office.
Responsibilities
- Updates the Guest History profiles on a timely manner, and ensure Guest Recognition, Customer Delight and Retention on daily bases.
- Ensure the guest information is properly handled and protected.
- Drive customer delight and retention by being a role model in delight guest in every single interaction.
- Obtain feedback from guests to improve services and facilities actively.
- Maximizing hotel profit by upselling transportations, excursions/Aman Journeys.
- Conduct Cross sell to outlets to maximize hotel revenue.
- Full knowledge of the operational systems at Concierge.
- To have the most updated information in the hotel, the city as well as the nationwide events and share that information to operational team.
- Maintain strong relationship with the industry key persons.
- Maintain strong relationship and goodwill with suppliers and third party contractors.
- Communicate guest preference information with other departments to delivery customer delight.
- Utilize and develop communication tools and channels for the dissemination of information and workflow amongst Concierge and all departments in the hotel.
- Attend Daily Rooms / Front Office / Concierge Briefing to share information.
- Maintain strong relationship and goodwill with regular guests.
- Celebrate guests' occasions like birthday and anniversary by preparing cards, letters, email, and gifts.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years similar experience in the hospitality industry.
- Well-connected to restaurants and amusement facilities in the city.
- Fluency in English and Japanese, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive guest or company information with integrity.
- Understand and have professional knowledge of how to correspondence email inquiry.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
