【JOB SUMMARY】
The Data Engineer will engage in the full development cycle of an in-house reporting platform, Data warehouse and the integration of business intelligence tools to enable more effective strategic, tactical, and operational reports for our existing systems. This role is also responsible for technical implementation, troubleshooting and configuration of the existing and new reports. This will involve cross collaboration with various stakeholders to identify requirements, proposing and implementing creative yet pragmatic solutions.
【ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES】
・Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to determine requirements, estimate level of effort, to support implementation of solutions for data analysis, reporting, and integration projects across commerce and ticketing platforms.(30%)
・Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain reporting solutions using SSRS or Tableau.(30%)
・Perform fit gap analysis on the existing reporting platform/reports to design strategic approach for both operational and strategic reports. Develop reporting models to meet business needs.(20%)
・Determine opportunities to leverage Business information (BI) tools to automate reporting.(10%)
・Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.(10%)
・Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional information: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
【REQUIREMENTS】
LANGUAGE: Ability to use both Japanese and English in business is desirable

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Database Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE:
・Proven working experience as a Report Engineer facilitating large business transformation projects.
・Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data Integrations and reporting models.
・Hands-on experience in understanding and writing complex SQL.
・Experience in scheduling integration workflows and reports.
・Hands on Experience with one or more reporting/ad-hoc analysis tools, at least one of the following
SSRS
Tableau
MicroStrategy
・Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies.
・Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
・Demonstrated ability to produce high quality technical documentation.
