法令遵守、社内基準の策定・運用、リスク評価を通じて、従業員の安全と設備の信頼性を確保する役割です。
主な業務内容
- ガス設備・化学物質・プロセス安全に関する安全基準・手順の策定、維持、改善
- ガス設備、化学物質取扱い、プロセスにおけるリスクアセスメントの実施および是正措置の推進
- 労働安全衛生法、化学物質管理、消防法、高圧ガス保安法など関連法令・規格に基づくコンプライアンス対応
- 現場での安全監査、点検、事故・ヒヤリハット事例の分析と再発防止策の立案
- 従業員・協力会社へのガス安全・化学安全教育・トレーニングの企画・実施
- 新規化学物質導入、ガス設備導入、プロセス変更時の安全評価および承認プロセスへの参画
- グローバルEHS基準との整合性確保、関連部門や社内外ステークホルダーとの連携
- グローバル基準、関連する国際規格(例:ISO、JIS、NFPA 等)に基づく設計レビュー
応募資格
- 化学工学、機械工学、プロセス工学、または関連分野の学士以上
または上記分野以外の学士であっても、実務で同等と見なせる知識や経験がある - 日本語能力として、JLPT N3 以上を必須とし、N2 以上の資格保持者を歓迎します
- 労働安全衛生法、高圧ガス保安法、化学物質管理に関する法規知識
- 製造業・プラント・化学設備・ガス設備における安全管理経験(歓迎)
- リスクアセスメント、事故調査、是正措置の実務経験
- (歓迎)危険物取扱者、高圧ガス製造保安責任者、EHS関連資格(例:ISO45001内部監査員)

Job Summary
In our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) department, you will be responsible for safety management related to gas systems, chemical substances, and process safety. Through regulatory compliance, development and implementation of internal standards, and comprehensive risk assessments, you will play a vital role in ensuring employee safety and enhancing the reliability of our facilities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve safety standards and procedures related to gas systems, chemical substances, and process safety
- Conduct risk assessments for gas systems, chemical handling, and process operations, and promote corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the Industrial Safety and Health Act, chemical substance management regulations, the Fire Service Act, and the High Pressure Gas Safety Act
- Perform on-site safety audits and inspections, analyze accidents and near-miss cases, and develop measures to prevent recurrence
- Plan and deliver gas safety and chemical safety education and training for employees and contractors
- Participate in safety evaluations and approval processes for the introduction of new chemicals, gas systems, and process changes
- Ensure alignment with global EHS standards and collaborate closely with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Conduct design reviews in accordance with global standards and relevant international regulations (e.g., ISO, JIS, NFPA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a related field
(Candidates with degrees outside these fields may also be considered if they possess equivalent knowledge or experience.) - Japanese proficiency at JLPT N3 level or higher (N2 or above preferred)
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, including the Industrial Safety and Health Act, the High Pressure Gas Safety Act, and chemical substance management laws
- Experience in safety management within manufacturing, plant operations, chemical facilities, or gas systems (preferred)
- Practical experience in risk assessment, accident investigation, and implementation of corrective actions
- Preferred certifications: Hazardous Materials Engineer, High Pressure Gas Safety Manager, EHS-related certifications (e.g., ISO 45001 Internal Auditor)
