Brief Call
: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you
Interviews
(the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities
Case study
: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

As an
Automobile Applications Developer (C++)
, you will play a key role in the development and integration of embedded software solutions for cutting-edge automotive applications. You will work alongside system architects, hardware engineers, and test teams to bring advanced driving technologies to life through robust and efficient code. Your contributions will directly impact the performance, safety, and user experience of next-generation vehicles.
Your missions
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded C++ applications for automotive systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define specifications and implement new features
- Ensure software integration with automotive hardware platforms and sensors
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code aligned with safety and performance standards
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize embedded applications for reliability and efficiency
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement in software quality
- Stay current with automotive software trends, tools, and evolving standards (e.g. AUTOSAR)
Your profile
- Proven experience in embedded C++ development, preferably in the automotive industry
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Experience with automotive software development tools, version control (Git), and debugging tools
- Familiarity with communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and real-time operating systems
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic standards and safety compliance (ISO is a plus
- Academic background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, Electronics, or related field
- Fluent English and Japanese;
- You are solution-oriented, technically curious, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills
