Job Purpose
A highly motivated and result-oriented HR professional is sought to join the AIG HR team.
The Strategic HR Business Partner functions as an engine for business growth through people and organizational/cultural strategy, acting as a strategic partner for business leaders to design and deliver organizational initiatives that transform people's capability and culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized HR support on employee relations, talent and performance management, talent acquisition, employee engagement, time management, and compliance with local labor law to Senior leaders.
- Partner with Senior leaders to determine key people priorities and ensure the organization has the capability, structure, and culture to drive business goals.
- Provide expert HR advice and manage people activities in line with AIG Culture and Values, policy, and local regulations and standards.
- Coach and advise Senior leaders and people managers on people management, including Talent Acquisition, employee relations, change management, and people development.
- Help leaders drive talent reviews, build robust succession planning, and look around corners with data-driven recommendations.
- Foster diversity and inclusion and contribute to rolling out initiatives by working closely with our DEI team.
- Ensure HR compliance with labor and employment regulations, manage business risk, and work with local authorities for relevant permits.
- Collaborate with local CoEs and global/local HR colleagues to design best practice HR solutions.
Salary
¥5,500,000 - ¥7,500,000 per year
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated HR professional with at least 5 years' experience in HR, including significant experience as an HRBP or COE in an industrial environment.

- Communication: Business-level English and Native-level Japanese ability to communicate ideas and data.
