本ポジションは、Amazon Japanでサプライチェーン組織が担当する、物流計画の最上流に位置する需要予測、入出荷計画、在庫計画の領域で戦略策定と実行に責任を持ちます。特に繁忙期においては、より低価格でかつ速いスピードでお客様が必要としている商品をお届けしながらも、人材不足と物流コスト増加の問題に訴求する様なビジネスモデル構築とソリューション開発を組織の枠を超えて関係者とともに実行します。物流労働環境の在り方、顧客のスピードに対する要望、配送に影響を及ぼす様々なコスト要因を定量的に解析し、従来にはないアプローチで問題解決を推進します。最終的には、年間を通して最適なオペレーション実行計画策定に取り組み、Amazon Japanの持続的な成長を支えます。
需要予測の一連のプロセスでは、調達、販売、マーケティングと多岐に渡る関係者と協力しながら、顧客体験の品質を維持もしくは向上させつつ、フルフィルメントコストを継続して削減していくことを常に視野に入れながら業務を推進します。合意された需要予測をもとに、海外の開発チームと協力しながら入出庫計画、在庫計画の策定、レビューにオペレーション部門の代表として参画して、中長期的な販売戦略、マーケティング戦略、物流戦略を関係部署とともに試行錯誤を継続しながら型作る役割を期待しています。

- 新たな施策を関係部署とともに考案、計画、試験、検証する一連のサイクルをプログラムとして管理する
- 各施策のフルフィルメントコストへの影響、売上への影響、関連するメトリクスへの影響を定量的に分析して意思決定をサポートする
- 販売部門、マーケティング部門、調達部門と連携して、計画が実行に至るまでのコンセンサス取得と文書作成を担当する
A day in the life
入社後の所属は、Capacity Planningチーム内のDemand Planning Senior Managerにレポートします。このチームでは、シアトル本社に所属するSupply Chain Optimization Technologyチーム(需要予測部門)と連携して、年間の需要計画と入出庫計画、3年後を見据えた需要計画を共同で管理しています。この需要計画はToplineとも呼ばれており、我々サプライチェーン部門が入出庫計画、在庫計画を作成するための重要なデータソースとなっており、これらをもとに新規フルフィルメントセンター施設の建築ならびに開設に向けた投資判断をしています。3カ年計画、年間計画、四半期計画といった大きな枠組みで、需要予測が実行計画に正しくかつ意図したとおりに繋がる様、関係部門と調整することがミッションとなっています。
関係する部門は多岐にわたり、各部門と調整の核としての役割が期待されます。グローバルの需要予測部門、日本では販売部門、マーケティング部門、財務部門が主な関係先となります。需要の不確実性を考慮した上で、どれほどの出荷、入荷、在庫保有能力を準備するかを下流のチームに伝達することも重要な業務の一つになります。

About the team
本ポジションはAmazon Japanのサプライチェーン部門の中でCapacity Planningチームの一員として活動します。当チームは中長期での視点で入出荷、在庫の需要予測を行い、お客様に豊富な品揃えと在庫量、そして迅速な配送スピードで商品をお届けできるように、適切なタイミングで、適切な場所に、適切な規模で倉庫を建築、準備することが主な役割です。この業務を通じて、お客様の購買体験の向上、ビジネスにおけるコスト管理、投資判断など重要な役割を担っています。当チームは、日本のオペレーション部門の中でも最も遠い将来を見て仕事をしているのが特徴です。

※コアタイム無し・実働8時間/日となりますが、業務時間帯はマネージャーと相談の上、業務および個人の都合に応じて変更が可能となる場合があります。例えば、個人の事情で日中の勤務が難しい場合は他時間帯に振り分ける等、ワークライフハーモニーを重視した働き方が可能です。

現在、週3回の目黒オフィス出社・週2回在宅勤務が可能な働き方となっています。その為、目黒オフィスへ通勤が可能な関東近郊の居住を推奨します。

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience- 3+ years of owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Fluent in verbal and written English and Japanese communication
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA, or Master's degree in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field- 5+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience
