Job Description: O&M Engineer
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the performance monitoring of solar energy assets to maximize efficiency and output.
- Coordinate maintenance activities, troubleshooting issues, and directing corrective actions to ensure optimal operational performance.
- Provide technical support to operations teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and information to conduct maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, fostering a culture of safety within the team.
- Manage contractor and vendor relationships to ensure effective delivery of maintenance services.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation and reports related to asset performance and maintenance activities.
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance performance and compliance.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of asset management principles and performance monitoring techniques.
- Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance coordination and technical support within the energy sector.
Desired Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations and maintenance roles, specifically in solar energy or renewable energy sectors.
- Proven track record in compliance and regulatory management.
- Experience in managing contractors and vendors is highly advantageous.
