Job Overview:

UD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. The mission of the System Verification Engineer at UDT/VE Electrical Engineering is to execute verification activities such as test scope, test execution, test result, Problem Report follow up, rig building, test tool, verification process in System Level (the rig with full ECUs in system and/or Truck), not component level. All works can be well performed with his/her judgement and experience with getting support from senior engineers, have a dedicated knowledge and skills to make the test requirement, decision and planning. Follow company rules and behave correctly, grow up technically to become technical role model.

Responsibilities:

• Join Concept study to build up the understanding of requirement and relative regulation
• Do system level verification in Verification phase
• Create test plan in system level
• Identify test scope
• Build test scenario
• Test execution
• Test reporting
• Support Lessons Learnt
• Support new test method creation
• Support new test process creation
• Support test rig development

Required Competences:

• Basic understanding of ISO26262 Standard
• Basic Knowledge of automotive
• Basic Knowledge of HW/SW development
• Basic Knowledge of truck parts, sensor actuator, relay, battery SW/HW
• Basic Knowledge of HW/SW verification methodology
• Good communication skill to lead verification activities with project stakeholders
• English basic level
• Japanese fluent
• Experience in AUTOSAR standard (Goot to have)
