Department OverviewGroup Compliance Supervisory Department is in charge of promoting internal controls for the continued success of Rakuten Group.

In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be involved in building a structure that will have an impact on the whole Rakuten Group.

We are looking for someone with passion, drive, and commitment who would like to join us in building a group-wide risk management system, as well as a fast, efficient, and robust compliance structure.
Plan and operate a compliance committee
Plan and run compliance programs
Develop a legal compliance system
Develop a permission management system
Plan and run anti-bribery and corruption program
Plan and run AML/CFT Program
Plan and execute compliance training
Implement Corporate Ethics Charter
Participate in projects for developing compliance systems, etc. (Assignments will be determined based on the experience and aptitude of the applicant)
Mandatory Qualifications
Compliance experience
Problem-solving skills; Research, analyze, plan, and make presentations
Communication skills; Propose and negotiate with Board of Directors and other stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
Project management experience (ability to drive a project while coordinating with multiple stakeholders)
Experience in constructing a compliance system within a global company is preferred
