Department Overview
Group Compliance Supervisory Department is in charge of promoting internal controls for the continued success of Rakuten Group.
The company is growing and becoming global very rapidly, where everyone has opportunities to contribute and realize their development. In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be involved in building a structure that will have an impact on the whole Rakuten Group.

Position Details
- Plan and operate a compliance committee
- Plan and run compliance programs
- Develop a legal compliance system
- Develop a permission management system
- Plan and run anti-bribery and corruption program
- Plan and run AML/CFT Program
- Plan and execute compliance training
- Implement Corporate Ethics Charter
- Participate in projects for developing compliance systems, etc. (Assignments will be determined based on the experience and aptitude of the applicant)
Mandatory Qualifications
- About 3+ years of experience in compliance
- Problem-solving skills; Research, analyze, plan, and make presentations
- Communication skills; Propose and negotiate with Board of Directors and other stakeholders(experience in duties including establishing group policies, compliance awareness activities, and compliance monitoring)
- Business-fluent in Japanese
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working at a global company
- Project management experience (Structuring, Management, ability to drive a project while coordinating with multiple stakeholders)
- Experience in building a compliance framework
