Department Overview
Group Compliance Supervisory Department is in charge of promoting internal controls for the continued success of Rakuten Group.

Position Details

  • Plan and operate a compliance committee
  • Plan and run compliance programs
  • Develop a legal compliance system
  • Develop a permission management system
  • Plan and run anti-bribery and corruption program
  • Plan and run AML/CFT Program
  • Plan and execute compliance training
  • Implement Corporate Ethics Charter
  • Participate in projects for developing compliance systems, etc. (Assignments will be determined based on the experience and aptitude of the applicant)

Mandatory Qualifications

  • About 3+ years of experience in compliance
  • Problem-solving skills; Research, analyze, plan, and make presentations
  • Communication skills; Propose and negotiate with Board of Directors and other stakeholders(experience in duties including establishing group policies, compliance awareness activities, and compliance monitoring)
  • Business-fluent in Japanese

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working at a global company
  • Project management experience (Structuring, Management, ability to drive a project while coordinating with multiple stakeholders)
  • Experience in building a compliance framework
