Business Overview
The Group Compliance Supervisory Department of Rakuten, consisting of departments such as the Legal & Compliance Department and Risk Management Department, works on constructing an effective governance and compliance structure to enhance the continuous growth of the Rakuten group.
The CCO Office is an organization that supports the Group CCO (Chief Compliance Officer) with a comprehensive view of the Supervisory Department, engaging in management and coordination work as well as actions for strengthening and ensuring smooth operation of the Supervisory Department.
Specifically, we are engaged in regular work such as coordination for important meetings, promotion of communication within the Supervisory Department, budget management (budget making), and promotion of company-wide activities.
Our job is to enhance the Rakuten Group's "defense" function, having a close relationship with the Management Team.

As the Rakuten Group rapidly grows and globalizes, while diversifying its business, strengthening the "defense" function is becoming increasingly important.
Despite having many experts in the fields of legal and GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), our Supervisory Department faces many high-difficulty challenges, such as designing policies and systems that apply to the entire group.
We are looking for someone who can support the Supervisory Department and the CCO in various ways, and work together to create systems that impact the entire group.
With a flexible attitude that is not bound by job categories, you will be involved in various tasks related to business planning and general affairs/human resources, supporting the CCO and the Supervisory Department.
Planning and executing projects for designing and implementing rules that apply to the entire group (e.g., PMO for the electronic signature implementation project, PMO for the decision-making authority rule renewal project)
Administrative office of the Risk and Compliance Committee
Coordination for submitting documents for important meetings
Planning and executing communication events within the Supervisory Department
Examining and implementing other group-wide issues and themes (e.g., promoting the use of AI)
You will work closely with the CCO and the management team, and will be able to experience both personal growth and the growth of the company.
Under 10 people, ages 20s to 40s
Mainly mid-career hires from various industries and professions.

Experience and Background
Project work experience (ability to drive a project while coordinating with multiple stakeholders)
Skills
Problem-solving skills; Facilitation, project management, research, analyze, plan, and make presentations
Communication skills; Propose and negotiate with various stakeholders of Rakuten Group (including Board of Directors)
Documentation skills:
planning contents and creating documents using MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
