Position Summary
The Assistant Manager of Accounts Receivable is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end AR process, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, strong credit control, and effective team leadership.
This role safeguards company cash flow, strengthens internal controls, and partners with cross-functional teams to resolve billing issues, enhance customer satisfaction, and support financial reporting.
QualificationsQualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality preferred.
Experience
4–6 years of hotel AR experience; supervisory or assistant manager-level experience preferred.
Experience with group billing, events billing, and Opera PMS is essential.
Skills
Solid knowledge of accounting principles (US-GAAP / JP-GAAP beneficial).
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas); Oracle exposure is preferred.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
Excellent customer service and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work under pressure, especially during month-end and peak event periods.
