Summary
Position Summary
The Assistant Manager of Accounts Receivable is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end AR process, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, strong credit control, and effective team leadership. This role safeguards company cash flow, strengthens internal controls, and partners with cross-functional teams to resolve billing issues, enhance customer satisfaction, and support financial reporting.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality preferred.

Experience

  • 4–6 years of hotel AR experience; supervisory or assistant manager-level experience preferred.
  • Experience with group billing, events billing, and Opera PMS is essential.

Skills

  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles (US-GAAP / JP-GAAP beneficial).
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas); Oracle exposure is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure, especially during month-end and peak event periods.
