Global Business Solutions is a marketing solution, including TikTok For Business, that naturally connects companies and brands with audiences looking for new interests and curiosities to help solve business challenges across the funnel, from awareness to customer acquisition. We help businesses solve business problems across the funnel, from awareness to customer acquisition.
As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early.
Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business objectives;
- Data Transformation: Perform data manipulation and processing to ensure data sets are accurate and ready for analysis;
- Dashboard and Report Creation: Generate insightful reports and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at various levels of the organization;
- Quality Assurance: Validate data accuracy and integrity, perform quality checks on analysis outputs, and ensure adherence to best practices and standards in data analysis and reporting;
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation of analysis methodologies, findings, and outcomes for future reference, and actively participate in knowledge sharing activities to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement;
- Process Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization through data analysis and stakeholder feedback, and contribute to the implementation of improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- ENG or JPN either proficient level;
- Analytical Skills: Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data from various sources to derive actionable insights and recommendations;
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Identify business problems, propose solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective strategies;
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely;
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R, and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, enabling efficient and effective analysis of large datasets;
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in data analysis, documentation, and reporting to ensure accuracy and reliability of insights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Internship Experience: Prior experience as a business analyst intern or in a related analytical role within the tech industry;
- Quantitative Background: Strong academic background in quantitative fields such as mathematics, statistics, economics, or computer science, providing a solid foundation for data analysis and interpretation;
- Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
