Department Overview
Rakuten Mobile entered the market as the fourth MNO (Mobile Network Operator) to be approved first time in Japan in 13 years, launching full-scale services in April 2020 with the aim of providing high-quality mobile communication services at reasonable prices.
Rakuten Mobile began offering full-scale services to corporate clients in January 2023.
With significant investment being made as a core business to drive the future growth of the Rakuten Group, it is attracting considerable attention both domestically and internationally.
The Corporate Operations System Planning Group is responsible for designing and developing internal tools as well as customer-facing services. Their main tasks include requirements definition, system implementation, acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality, and post-implementation bug fixing. Through these processes, they promote the delivery of stable services.Additionally, their role in system solutions is to design and establish processes to handle exceptional cases that cannot be managed through routine operations.
