Randstad is partnered with a leading American Life Insurance firm (one of the world's top 5 insurance companies and within Asia's top 2) in their search for an experienced Cloud Automation Developer / Engineer to be a part of their Cloud Foundations team.
The ideal candidate will have strong programming and development experience, a solid understanding of Azure cloud services, and a passion for building automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and governance.
■Responsibilities
The candidate would be responsible for implementing automation in the following areas:
- Post-verification on changes to shared cloud services, including a quick health check on critical apps (collaborate with App Dev teams to create a checklist from an infrastructure perspective).
- Standardize common database operations that are supposed to be managed by the cloud team.
- Generate on-demand cloud spending reports.
- Assign permissions based on an approved role matrix.
- Develop a multi-purpose AI chatbot as a user interface to improve communication
■Requirements
・Around 7 years of relevant experience minimally
・Strong proficiency in languages such as Python, C#, or PowerShell.
・Proven track record of building automation tools and enterprise-grade applications.
・Understanding of Microsoft Azure services (Compute, Storage, Networking, RBAC, Cost Management).
・Familiarity with SQL and common database operations.
・Experience with AI/Chatbot development (Azure Bot Service, OpenAI APIs) is a plus.

・Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Biceps).
・Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
・Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools.
