Position Overview

The company processes millions of transactions daily, securing critical data for millions of policyholders.
As part of the TEKsystems Database Automation team, you'll contribute to building and maintaining a resilient Oracle RAC ecosystem that supports large-scale data center operations and migration initiatives.
Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Oracle RAC Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, build, and maintenance of Oracle RAC clusters.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Architecture:
Architect and implement Oracle RAC clusters for high availability, scalability, and performance.
Build & Maintenance:
Manage the full lifecycle of Oracle RAC infrastructure, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
Migration Projects:
Lead Oracle-related components of large-scale data center migration efforts.
Performance & Troubleshooting:
Monitor RAC performance, diagnose issues, and implement tuning strategies.
Collaboration:
Work closely with DBAs, infrastructure teams, and cloud architects to ensure seamless integration and reliability.
Required Skills And Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in Oracle infrastructure, with strong hands-on experience in Oracle RAC.
Migration Expertise:
Proven track record in managing Oracle environments during data center migrations.
Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of Oracle RAC architecture, clustering, backup/recovery, and performance optimization.
Language:
Japanese proficiency (JLPT N3 or higher); English is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong ownership, problem-solving ability, and cross-functional collaboration.
