As part of the
TEKsystems Database Automation team
, you'll contribute to building and maintaining a resilient Oracle RAC ecosystem that supports large-scale data center operations and migration initiatives. This is a high-impact role in a company committed to modernization and operational excellence.
Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned
Oracle RAC Infrastructure Engineer
to lead the design, build, and maintenance of Oracle RAC clusters. This role is central to a
large-scale data center migration project
, and requires deep expertise in Oracle infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Architect and implement Oracle RAC clusters for high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Build & Maintenance: Manage the full lifecycle of Oracle RAC infrastructure, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
- Migration Projects: Lead Oracle-related components of large-scale data center migration efforts.
- Performance & Troubleshooting: Monitor RAC performance, diagnose issues, and implement tuning strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with DBAs, infrastructure teams, and cloud architects to ensure seamless integration and reliability.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in Oracle infrastructure, with strong hands-on experience in Oracle RAC.
- Migration Expertise: Proven track record in managing Oracle environments during data center migrations.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of Oracle RAC architecture, clustering, backup/recovery, and performance optimization.
- Language: Japanese proficiency (JLPT N3 or higher); English is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong ownership, problem-solving ability, and cross-functional collaboration.
