The Global Talent Acquisition Department is mainly responsible for executive recruitment, overseas MBA recruitment, and Engineering recruitment. Among these, you will be in charge of engineering hiring, which employs several hundred people annually.
Rakuten's development organization is a global organization with more than 70 nationalities working in it, and hiring activities are conducted all over the world.
As the competition to hire talented IT professionals becomes increasingly fierce, you will be required to have the attitude to identify issues on your own and solve problems by involving people inside and outside the company.

Rakuten tech organization is a global organization and consists of the people from more than 70 different countries, so we are conducting recruiting activities all over the world.
Work with department leaders, HRBPs, and hiring managers to understand current and future hiring needs, and develop effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
Promote direct recruitment (Candidates sourcing, Scouting)
Promote Referral recruitment
Agent/Vendor management
Planning and execution of recruiting event (domestic and international)
Planning and execution of media publishment for our recruiting (domestic and international)
Planning and execution of the branding for our recruiting (recruiting website, SNS, novelties, etc.)
Work Environment
Our team is diverse, with both Japanese and non-Japanese members ranging, from late 20s to 40s. We communicate in both Japanese and English within the team.
The work is fast paced and requires a high level of both adaptability and independence, and would suit someone who is comfortable with data driven decision making.
At least 5 years of working experience with a minimum of 3 years in engineer recruiting or IT experiences
Bilingual in Japanese and English, or over 5 years' experience working in English (TOEIC over 800 points)
Business level PC skill (Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to find and solve problems independently, and to work well with stakeholders at all levels of seniority
Desired Qualifications
Internal recruiting experience within the tech industry in Japan would be ideal, but any strong recruiting background is welcome
A strong understanding of the products and services within the Rakuten ecosystem would also be beneficial, as it would assist in a fast knowledge transfer and ramp up period after joining
Solid presentation and research skills would also be desirable, as would a high level of communicative ability and professionalism
