Treasure Data builds a Programmable Platform to efficiently enable and scale Customer-centric Data Platform applications across a range of verticals from automotive, to CPG, and even finance.
The Backend team and Core Services group build and manage our primary control plane, orchestration systems, computation layer (Trino, Hive), streaming ingestion, and data lake.
We are looking for an experienced, innovative, customer-obsessed software engineer to join our core service group to enhance and maintain the workflow component.
You will be working on a key orchestration component in the workflow team.The Opportunity
Work to deliver Generative AI solutions for new and existing features within the Treasure Data platform
Assist with planning, design, and development within the Generative AI engineering domain.
Assist with system design activities, bringing an experienced perspective to discussions to make the right tradeoffs.
Build with a mind towards scalability, performance and operationalization.
Assist with production operations as part of our full team on-call rotation
Keep up to date on novel technical concepts that we should adopt (and which ones we should ignore).
Along with the rest of the team, own and operate the services that you built.
About You
8+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record.
You like talking about JavaScript and building web applications.
You are interested in learning new technologies and skills.
You can demonstrate expertise in frontend development and are comfortable with full stack development.
A familiarity with React and its ecosystem, as well as modern JavaScript and TypeScript features.
You take quality seriously and want to build good code.
Experience with various testing approaches, correctness through design and a holistic approach to quality.
Business level English proficiency
Ability to organize and lead projects with a team of engineers, coordinating with other teams around the world
Ability to articulate engineering architectures and document requirements
Additional Expertise
Experience building software with Ruby / Ruby on Rails
