- Actively drive and lead the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in partnership with the sales/channels Team as the key technical advisor and advocate for our products and services.
- Pursue and showcase our product and services to our customer's technical and executive audience through presentations, demonstrations, and technical sales engagements.
- Develop and expand our web-based content and work with marketing and sales to refine our service value proposition, literature as well as sales approach.
- Demonstrate our products and services to customers on site, remotely via webinar sessions, and at field events such as conferences and trade shows.
Training : During the first three months, you'll go through a comprehensive training program that includes E-Learning, direct training from SE instructors, and Splunk Education courses. You'll also have a mentor to guide you and provide direct advice. You'll get hands-on experience with our technology and products from day one.
Career Path : With experience, you can move to more senior roles such as Account SE, Enterprise SE, Product SE, Consulting SE, or Partner SE. We encourage internal hiring and you can apply for internal positions of your interest.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience as Solutions Engineer/Pre-sales/Sales Engineering in large enterprises.
- Strong executive presence and polish.
- Extraordinary interpersonal, written and presentation skills.
- Thrives in a dynamic, fast-growing, rapidly changing environment.
- Able to work independently and remotely from other members of your team and corporate.
- Strong record of success of overachieving targets.
- Validated knowledge of machine data logging and analytics techniques processes and tools.
- Foundational knowledge of the Big Data marketplace or the Security marketplace.
- Native level Japanese Communication. Business English
