Join a well-funded fintech company developing advanced financial infrastructure and a greenfield trading platform. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Core Java backend components for high-performance trading systems
- Design scalable, low-latency backend services and system architecture
- Implement new platform features, APIs, and microservices
- Optimize system reliability, throughput, and performance across distributed components
- Collaborate with engineers and product partners to align technical requirements
- Plan, prioritize, and execute development tasks independently
- Contribute to long-term technical direction, coding standards, and engineering best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience
- Strong hands-on proficiency in Core Java
- Experience with TCP/UDP network protocols
- Knowledge of RDBMS or NoSQL storage systems
- Proven experience building or maintaining high-performance backend services
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving ability in complex technical environments
- Clear and effective English communication
- Ability to take ownership and work autonomously
- Collaborative mindset within cross-functional teams
- High attention to detail and commitment to code quality
Language Requirements:
- English: Fluent
- Japanese: Basic level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Background in financial systems or real-time transaction platforms
- Familiarity with Python or other backend languages for tooling or automation
