: Since the first autonomous guided vehicle (AGV) in 1953, technology has advanced significantly, especially with modern sensors and AI. Yet, market adoption remains limited due to complex customer needs. About the Role
: As an AI Engineer, you will accelerate LexxPluss's automation solutions using machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI technologies. This extends beyond applying AI to the robots themselves, challenging you to automate the implementation and operation of solutions. You will leverage machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI technologies to accelerate LexxPluss's automation solutions dramatically.

Responsibilities
:

  • 3+ years of practical experience in machine learning and software engineering
  • 3+ years of practical development experience using Python
  • 2+ years of development experience using shell scripting
  • 1+ year of practical experience with Large Language Models (LLM) / Generative AI technologies
  • 1+ year of practical experience in prompt engineering
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly explain complex LLM functionalities and limitations to non-technical stakeholders
  • Business-level English proficiency.

Qualifications
:

  • Practical experience in NLP (Natural Language Processing)
  • Development experience using AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with MLOps, CI/CD pipeline development, containerization, and model deployment in test/production environments
  • Work experience related to robotics products
  • Intermediate-level Japanese proficiency or higher (listening and speaking)

Pay range and compensation package
: 6–12 million yen

Location
: Kawasaki Station Tower RiverK 18F, 12-1 Ekimae Honcho, Kawasaki Ward, Kawasaki, Kanagawa / Japan

Working Hours
:

  • Start: 10:00 AM
  • End: 7:00 PM
  • Break: 60 minutes
  • *Note: A flexible working hours system is applied depending on job role

Allowances
:

  • Commuting allowance: Actual expenses reimbursed
  • Fixed overtime allowance: Covers 30 hours of overtime work

  • Annual paid leave: 25 days granted on the date of joining (prorated based on month of entry)
