At Astellas, we are seeking a skilled Bioinformatics Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related field and at least seven years of experience in applying bioinformatics approaches to drug discovery and development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop bioinformatics analysis plans to address clinical development questions for multiple drug discovery and development programs.
• Utilize state-of-the-art bioinformatics methods and internal/external data to identify biomarkers and inform patient selection strategies.
• Conduct bioinformatics analysis of clinical trial omics data to support Proof of Mechanism (POM) and patient selection.
About the Role:
This is a hybrid role that can be based in the US, Japan, UK, or EU, with flexible work arrangements to optimize productivity and work-life balance. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new analysis tools and databases to meet the needs of our portfolio.
