We are looking for a skilled Credit Risk Director to lead the New Accounts Credit Risk Management team in Tokyo.
You will create and implement credit risk strategies to support business growth and improve customer interactions in both consumer and commercial sectors.

- Manage the credit risk assessment for new consumer and commercial accounts.
- Work with Risk Centers of Excellence to evaluate economic performance and find improvement areas.
- Adjust strategies based on new trends and economic changes.
- Use data from credit bureaus and financial statements to improve risk management models.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain high operational standards.
- Offer strategic advice to teams like Operations, Marketing, Product Management, and Finance.
- Lead and develop a highperforming team, promoting continuous learning and growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in building strategic relationships with partners across different regions.
- Strong leadership experience with diverse teams.
- Skilled in datadriven decisionmaking, with proficiency in Python, R, SAS, and SQL.
- Experience in credit assessment using various data sources.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; an advanced degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
