About the Role

The Amazon Japan VAMOS Tech team strives to create consolidated platforms and internal tools that facilitate VM/BSs efficiency, while introducing self-services for vendors in an automated manner.

As a part of the Japan Store Tech, a global software development group, you will be working on various technical challenges with a talented team of engineers.

We explore new and exciting areas, and your role will involve translating business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables and building quick prototypes or proofs of concept.

• You will help invent new features, design systems, develop and deploy highly scalable and reliable distributed services.
• Tackle challenging, novel situations every day and work with multiple technical teams at Amazon in different locations.

You should be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity higher than most projects and relish solving problems that haven't been solved at scale before.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of non-internship experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
• Business-level English (written and verbal).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.

The salary for this position is ¥8,000,000 per year.
