We are now looking for two Energy Business Consultants to support our growing business and customer base in the Japanese market. In this role, you will work closely with Japanese customers using Volue's advanced software solutions for optimisation and production planning, helping them unlock the full value of their power generation portfolios. You will collaborate closely with our European teams to exchange experiences and best practices, and adapt this expertise to create value for our Japanese customers.

What you will be doing to make a difference:

• Contributing to both large and small projects, implementing and configuring Volue's software solutions to meet customer needs.

• Acting as a trusted advisor and sparring partner for our customers, contributing to effective solutions at the intersection of business and technology.

• Organising and conducting customer training sessions to ensure users are fully equipped to use Volue's software effectively.

• Staying updated on customers' needs, helping them refine work processes, and exploring opportunities for additional sales.

• Providing customer support in line with service agreements (phone and email), as part of a collaborative team effort to ensure our customers receive timely and effective assistance.

• Engaging in technical problem-solving, including analysis, troubleshooting, and follow-up.

• Supporting Sales by running demos, giving input to solution design, and estimating new implementation projects.
 

What you need to succeed:

• A degree in energy, engineering, or a related field (substantial relevant experience may substitute for formal education).

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.

• Knowledge of the Japanese power markets.

• Strong IT competence and experience with software implementation projects.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Native-level proficiency in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English (written and spoken).
