Reporting to the Head of Legal of this global fast moving consumer goods company, this is a key role for an experienced Japanese Bengoshi lawyer to excel through:
- Supporting business units and managing stakeholders through providing timely legal and regulatory advice
- Gathering information and analysing legal issues and advising management thereon
- Reviewing commercial contracts and providing legal input on them and advising business units on any issues/areas of risk
- Work closely with external affairs to represent the company in an appropriate manner
- Stay up to date with legal developments and updating colleagues where appropriate
To qualify, you need to be:
- An excellent communicator/presenter who is a Japanese bengoshi 10+ years' qualified lawyer with fluency in both English and Japanese
- Have excellent eye for detail as well as organisational skills and experienced in working in a fast-paced environment
