Job Overview

Solventum Products is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Engineer to join our Yamagata factory team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for leading the development of new processes and improving existing ones to meet the company's manufacturing goals.

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

We are looking for a skilled Process Engineer who can design, implement, and maintain production processes that meet or exceed quality and productivity standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and research and development, to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Improve existing production processes to increase productivity and quality
• Maintain and optimize production equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Experience with manufacturing process improvement and optimization
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required

Preferred Qualifications:

Apart from the requirements above, we also welcome candidates with experience in:

• Process engineering in the manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of machinery and chemical processes
• DX implementation and digital transformation

Work Location: Solventum Products (Company) Yamagata Factory

Travel: Domestic and international travel may be required to visit suppliers, attend training sessions, and collaborate with other teams.
