The Role
- Help define the foundations of the Solutions Engineering function across Japan, managing a team of 6 Solution Engineers.
- Serve as trusted technical advisors to customers and prospects, connecting product capabilities to business outcomes.
- Build demos, proof-of-concepts, and tooling that demonstrate value at scale.
- Address advanced technical and product inquiries, including RFPs and security questionnaires.
- Capture customer feedback to help shape product roadmap and improve how the platform is showcased.
- Join at a pivotal moment with massive greenfield opportunity as the company scales in Japan and the APAC region.
Your Skills
- 3+ years of experience managing, mentoring, and inspiring Solutions Engineers, Sales Engineers, or Solutions Architects.
- Demonstrated success partnering with sales leadership and other cross-functional teams
- Demonstrable experience in the SaaS-domain, preferably with some exposure to AI applications
- Ability to write basic scripts using modern APIs.
- High adaptability and comfort navigating fast-paced, dynamic organizational change
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English (written and spoken).
