Job Title: Analog / Mixed Signal Layout Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Analog / Mixed Signal Layout Design Engineer to join our team at {company}.
About the Role:
- Design and develop high-quality analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) in various process technologies, including CMOS, Bi-CMOS, SOI, and FinFet.
- Develop a deep understanding of circuit principles, layout techniques, and semiconductor devices.
- Utilize industry-standard layout and verification tools, such as Cadence and Siemens EDA tools (Calibre), and Power user of Virtuoso -XL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver complex ICs on schedule and within budget.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new design methodologies.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal layout design, preferably in a Linux environment.
- Hands-on experience with critical blocks such as SERDES, PHY, HDMI, PLL, ADC, DAC, LDO, Bandgap, Ref Generators, Charge Pump, Current Mirrors, Comparator, Differential Amplifier etc.
- Strong understanding of CMOS/Bi-CMOS/SOI/FinFet process and semiconductor devices.
- Experience with DRC/LVS/ERC/Antenna/LPE/DFM verification checks.
- Knowledge of various analog layout techniques and circuit principles affected by layouts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills in routing congestion, physical verification, and custom layout.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands, Microsoft Office software, and version control tools (Subversion).
Language Requirement:
- Japanese (Native Level)
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visio, LSI chip evaluation experience, Functional safety design and evaluation experience, Semiconductor device circuit design experience.
- Soft Skills: High learning competency, self-motivated, and ability to work in diverse areas in a flexible and dynamic environment
Salary: Estimated salary range is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
