Our client's Data Management Team serves as the central hub for expertise and best practices in managing and developing data assets.
This role ensures safe, responsible implementation across all Data, AI, and GenAI initiatives, focusing on technical execution of data management policies and practices across environments, entities, and data layers.
A key responsibility includes data modeling, providing well-designed data foundations that are organized, efficient, scalable, and aligned with organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Implement and enforce technical data management policies across all environments
Design and maintain scalable data models and architectures
Govern Big Data platforms and manage metadata effectively
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data governance and security standards
Support AI and GenAI initiatives with robust data foundations
Document processes and maintain meticulous records
Required Experience:
Minimum 8 years in similar roles
Strong background in Big Data platform governance and management
Familiarity with Databricks Unity Catalog and AWS with fine-grained access control
Proficiency in metadata management tools (Talend, Collibra, Unity Catalog)
Knowledge of data modeling standards (Data Vault, Dimensional Modeling)
Strong SQL skills; understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes
Experience with Databricks and DBT is a plus
Hands-on experience as Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, or Actuary
Domain expertise in insurance or finance
Must-Have Skills:
Strong academic foundation in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics
Expertise in database design, programming, and system analysis
Knowledge of data modeling tools (ER/Studio, SAP PowerDesigner, UML)
Deep understanding of data lifecycle, governance, and risk management
Familiarity with regulatory compliance in data management
Experience in Risk Management, Audit, Compliance, Security is a plus
Other Skills:
Business-level English and Japanese N1/N2
Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Confident in technical decision-making
Strong documentation and organizational skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Collaborative and results-oriented
