Opportunity to manage large team of 90+ members from various countries.Oversee the entire activities and operations of Housekeeping deparment to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Report to Director of Rooms
Key Accountabilities
Manage housekeeping budget and expenditure by maintaining effective cost control
Oversee monthly inventory counts of Operational Supplies, FF&E, and Mini Bar items
Report on monthly P&L analysis and explanation of all Housekeeping expenses
Manage our laundry vendor company to ensure appropriate linen levels, high quality items
Oversee and manage headcount and payroll expenses/overtime in accordance with budgetary guidelines and required service levels
Plan the development of the staff for a further advancement in their hotel journey establishing a succession plan for key positions within the department
Oversee the monthly rosters meeting timelines and ensure sufficient and effective manpower to cover the operation
Ensure effective communication within the team
Create an environment of teamwork by encouraging harmony, cooperation, and communication
Ensure all processes in each area have documented procedures (SOPs) to create standardized service delivery
Be creative in looking for areas that need change, updating, new equipment that will assist making the tasks efficient
Requirements
2+ years of experiences in leadership role in Housekeeping department
Critical thinking and analitical skills in budget management
Japanese cultural understanding and awareness. Japanese language is an advantage
Cross cultural people management experiences and team building
