Jitera, whose mission is to "Build the Next Era of 'Build'", is a global AI start-up developing and selling the AI context platform "Jitera" – a SaaS product – whilst also providing development support, including modernizing clients' legacy systems, by leveraging "Jitera".
It can read existing system code and analyze system structures, automatically generating high-precision design documents to streamline system development and modification, leading to cost reductions.
As a next-generation development environment based on context, "Jitera" achieves overall efficiency gains and quality improvements in system development.
Immediately following its product launch in September 2024, adoption has progressed rapidly across multiple major system integrators including Nippon Steel Solutions and SCSK, as well as dozens of enterprise companies, achieving overwhelming growth.
Furthermore, leveraging the characteristics of an AI context platform, adoption is advancing not only for use as a "Development AI Agent" but also for companies intending to utilize it as a "Business AI Agent" to streamline operations such as sales and administrative tasks.

Key ResponsibilitiesHelp lead the development and maintenance of our in-house built AI gateway which consists of various agent workflows and hundreds of custom tools to integrate into different sources of data and information
Design and propose architectural changes for our AI gateway in an easily digestible manner that can be understood by colleagues with ranging technical competencies
Work with other engineers, designers, and product managers to implement various features while considering maintainability, security, and performance.
Monitor incidents and help manage bug fixes that will ensure that customers can use the application as intended.
Requirements
5 years of experience in software development.
Deep knowledge of agentic AI workflows and building custom agents/tools
Ability to design a standard application's architecture
At least 1-2 years building agentic AI workflows
Building/developing AI agents and tools which harness different LLMs
More than 3 years of experience in:
Python
FastAPI
GraphQL
SQL databases (Understanding of architecture and general usage)
Experience/usage of vector databases or vector extensions
Business-level English skills (speaking/listening/writing/reading)
Good understanding of fundamental design patterns in software design.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Ability to work independently.
Communication skills to work cooperatively in a remote team.
Ability to prepare a remote work environment where you can focus on your work with a stable network place.
Interview Format
Interview one: 15-30 minutes call with HR to learn more about you and have a quick assessment of your fit to the Jitera Culture
Interview two: 2 hour take home technical task.
You will be implementing an extension to an agentic workflow written in Python to be able to perform certain tasks.
Interview three: 60 minute review of your technical implementation and quick throw whiteboard questionsInterview four: 30 minute informal call with the CEO of Jitera.
