The team

Hitachi Digital Services Japan, which is the HDS's Japan country office, is strengthening its offshore engineering services leveraging development centers in Vietnam and India, building a global delivery structure that combines high quality and cost competitiveness. 

The role

The Japanese-Speaking Project Manager will manage complex project requirements, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality deliverables. The role includes gathering customer requirements, creating execution plans and development tasks, and occasional travel to Japan for client and stakeholder meetings. 

What you'll bring

  • B.S., M.S. or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant major.
  • Have at least 4 years of experience in managing software development project, and at least 2 years of working experience with Japanese clients.
  • Possess excellent communication skills in Japanese, with a minimum of N2 level proficiency, although N1 is preferred.
  • Proficient in software development project management, Agile knowledge and experience is mandatory.
  • Proficiency is the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet project requirements.
  • Have basic concepts of data pipeline and analytics.
  • Willing to learn/understanding the hospitality domain.
  • Good English is a plus.
  • PMP Certificate is preferred.
