The team
Hitachi Digital Services Japan, which is the HDS's Japan country office, is strengthening its offshore engineering services leveraging development centers in Vietnam and India, building a global delivery structure that combines high quality and cost competitiveness.
The Japanese-Speaking Project Manager will manage complex project requirements, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
The role includes gathering customer requirements, creating execution plans and development tasks, and occasional travel to Japan for client and stakeholder meetings.
What You'll BringB.S., M.S. or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant major.
Have at least 4 years of experience in managing software development project, and at least 2 years of working experience with Japanese clients.
Possess excellent communication skills in Japanese, with a minimum of N2 level proficiency, although N1 is preferred.Proficient in software development project management, Agile knowledge and experience is mandatory.
Proficiency is the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet project requirements.
Have basic concepts of data pipeline and analytics.
Willing to learn/understanding the hospitality domain.
Good English is a plus.
PMP Certificate is preferred.
