The Innovation Program Management Department collaborates on research tasks with various companies and universities, allowing involvement in projects such as the Space Mobile project and activities related to O-RAN, a key research and development initiative. Currently, several government projects are ongoing in parallel, necessitating the need for new RAN engineers. The existing members of the Network Platform Research Section consist of members who have worked as mobile engineers in the operation and management of RAN base stations, members who have engaged in network and cloud-related work, and members who have experience as PMs.
Job Duties
• Execution of projects supported by the Japanese government.
• Finalize test items, clarify network equipment, servers, and components, manage sub-contractors, and collaborate with vendors and other departments.
• Manage test progress with sub-contractors and handle issues with vendors.
Responsibilities
• Manage daily construction progress and issues.
• Report progress to the manager.
• Attend meetings with vendors and R&D, and communicate through chat apps and email in English.
Minimum Qualifications
• Knowledge of L1/L2/L3 layers for communication.
• Experience in routing/network design settings.
• Knowledge of fiber optics and SFP types.
• Communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge related to IOWN.
• Management experience related to partner company engineers.

English (Overall - 3 - Advanced), Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent)
