Department Overview
The Logistics Business was established to build the foundation for next-generation e-commerce by considering Rakuten's ideal logistics role throughout the entire supply chain, from product arrival to delivery to end users. Currently, we provide the following two services:

• We handle a wide range of activities, from sales to service and business planning for logistics services (Rakuten Super Logistics) for clients who open stores on Rakuten Ichiba.
• We act as a 3PL (third-party logistics) provider, coordinating with the logistics departments of Rakuten's first-party e-commerce sites, such as Rakuten 24 and Rakuten Fashion.

Furthermore, Rakuten Group Inc. will establish a new company, "JP Rakuten Logistics Co., Ltd.", in July 2021, together with Japan Post Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Japan Post Holdings Co., Ltd. As a result, we will incorporate our labor-saving, automated logistics centers, which we have invested in and developed, into Japan Post's delivery network and jointly operate them, thereby achieving logistics DX and aiming to improve customer UX, shorten lead times, increase logistics efficiency, and maximize capacity.

The mission of this position is to numerically accelerate business growth through management accounting and KPI management in order to achieve logistics digital transformation. You will be responsible for a wide range of responsibilities, from building the foundation that supports decision-making to future management.

Position Details
You will be responsible for resolving business and management issues to ensure the smooth operation of our logistics business, as well as general management and project management.

Main Responsibilities

• Budgeting and actual/budget management for e-commerce logistics services
• In-depth analysis of fixed asset management and fluctuation factors
• Proposing specific business improvement measures based on analysis results
• Building a KPI management system using BI tools
• Participating in important projects such as warehouse expansion and delivery cost reduction

In the future, we expect you to grow into a managerial position, responsible for the overall management of the group, including internal control and subsidiary management.

Mandatory Qualifications
