Job Description
This position will be responsible to ensure the execution of the production/delivery planning schedule in alignment with customer due dates. Monitor availability of goods or delivery schedule to maintain desired on-time delivery (OTD) and customer service levels.
*Job Responsibilities*
- Create production/delivery schedules to fulfill customer needs.
- Ensure timely provision of the delivery schedule.
- Address customer escalations as needed.
- Monitor and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OTD and sales.
- Collaborate with different departments and 3PL warehouse to achieve sales goals and meet customer requirements.
- Project monthly sales for areas under responsibility.
- Monitor customer / supplier performance on a timely manner to proactively address potential issues.
- Ensure quality, safety, environment management system requirements and resources are fully integrated and available within all business processes.
*Background & Skills*
- Minimum three (3) years of combined experience in a production control, logistics or commercial transactions.
- Bachelor's degree (mechanical engineering preferable)
- Fluent Japanese, and conversational English preferable
