This role is a Data Integration/ETL Lead position, requiring hands-on experience in designing and implementing data warehouses and data marts for large financial institutions. You'll lead a development team in a matrix organization to implement high-quality solutions using Informatica and related database technology.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with data architects, analysts, and business users to understand business requirements and outcomes
- Functioning as a data and integration SME, providing business and technical knowledge on required subject-areas and systems
- Conducting impact analysis, documenting, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise data solutions
- Investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving failures, data, and other issues proactively
- Ensuring security, scalability, maintainability, and supportability of solutions
- Meeting or exceeding data quality and integrity standards
- Performing and supporting DUT/SIT/UAT/DR/regression testing activities
- Handling user enquiries and production support
- Creating and maintaining project, design, data flow, technical, how-to, and other required documentation
- Conducting trainings and knowledge sharing sessions
- Own Change Management process and end-to-end production deployment and monitoring after the Project Go Live
- Recommend and follow best practices, standards, processes, and procedures
- Develop and document the data audit, archiving, and restoration processes
- Develop quality standards to ensure data quality and integrity across various database systems
- Develop data quality rules for Key Data Elements Integrity controls to publish End User Dashboard with Data Quality results to comply with regulatory mandates
- Own Root cause analysis and resolution of production incidents and Data Quality breaks
- Support all sort of audits with appropriate documents and artifacts
Qualifications include 7+ years of technical software development experience implementing Enterprise Datawarehouse with ETL using Informatica, 5 years of experience in managing and owning a complex DataWarehouse, and 5 years of experience in the banking or financial services domain with ETL development using Informatica PowerCenter.
