Air Logistics Operational Care Import VAS Team Leader

You will be part of our Import VAS team, adding your leadership expertise and skills to the delivery of Customer and Operational Excellence in Narita, Chiba, Tiba, Japan.

This role involves leading Pick-up and Delivery Operations with a team to drive Customer Satisfaction and Profitability by working with internal and external stakeholders.

Your Role

Your primary objective is to lead transport operations across Japan's domestic distribution network in accordance with Kuehne+ Nagel Japan's strategic plan. This includes import delivery, export pick up, line haul and special commodities such as pharma, DG, air-ride and lower bed.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage transport operations to achieve agreed client service levels and cost control within budgetary requirements.
• Analyze Kuehne+Nagel's national road transport needs and implement strategic strategies to ensure sustainability.
• Ensure road transport activities are compliant with standard rules and regulations of local road transport authorities, in cooperation with the Legal & Compliance team.
• Join customer meetings, manage vendors, review KPIs, implement projects and develop SOPs.
