Job Description: Civil Design Engineer
Location: Tokyo, Japan
Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site preparation activities to ensure the suitability of sites for construction projects.
- Design and analyze foundations to ensure structural integrity and compliance with engineering standards.
- Develop infrastructure solutions to support project requirements and community needs.
- Ensure all engineering tasks comply with legal, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Provide engineering solutions that deliver cost-effectiveness and efficiency for projects.
- Oversee and supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Manage permitting processes critical to the progression of construction projects.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with civil engineering projects.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in civil engineering or related fields.
- Experience in infrastructure development and foundation design.
- Proven track record of managing construction projects from inception to completion.
- Experience in navigating permitting processes and compliance requirements.
