Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Lead to oversee the full spectrum of financial operations for our Japanese entity. This role is pivotal in building and scaling our finance function in Japan, ensuring strict compliance with local regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end finance operations for the Japanese entity, including but not limited to general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, cost control, and tax filing.
- Lead or deeply participate in building the finance function from the ground up (0-1), including establishing accounting policies, and optimizing compliance processes to create a robust financial framework meeting Japanese statutory and tax requirements.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and provide financial analysis to support business decision-making; interface with global headquarters for financial reporting.
- Participate in budgeting and rolling forecasting processes, monitor budget performance, identify financial risks, and propose optimization recommendations.
- Liaise with local external partners such as banks, tax authorities, and auditing firms, maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and other departments to resolve finance-related issues and drive the effective implementation of cross-departmental finance processes.
- Ensure all financial activities adhere to Japan's Company Act, Tax Laws, and internal control requirements, guaranteeing the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; solid knowledge of Japanese accounting principles and financial management.
- 8-10 years or more of relevant working experience in Japan, with in-depth knowledge of Japanese financial compliance and regulations.
- Prior experience in building a finance function from scratch (0-1), such as setting up financial architecture in a start-up or designing financial processes for new business ventures, is highly preferred.
- Language Skills: Fluency in both Japanese AND (Chinese OR English) is required for business-level communication, independent report writing, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in mainstream Japanese accounting software (e.g., JDL,QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle).
- Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving skills, and resilience; ability to work independently and handle complex financial scenarios.
- Experience in a multinational corporation is a plus. Background in the TMT (Technology, Media, Telecommunications) industry is preferred. Possession of a Japanese Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a strong advantage.

【任职要求】
1.本科及以上学历,会计、财务相关专业毕业,具备扎实的日本财务专业知识;
日本当地工作经验 8-10 年及以上,熟悉日本财务合规要求;
拥有日本财务体系 0-1 搭建经验(如初创企业财务架构搭建、新业务财务流程设计)者优先;
语言能力:中文+日文或者英文+˙日语双语流利(商务沟通级),可独立完成财务报告撰写、跨部门沟通;
熟练使用日本主流财务软件(如 JDL、QuickBooks、 NetSuite、Oracle);
具备良好的沟通协调能力、问题解决能力及抗压能力,能够独立应对复杂财务场景;
具备跨国企业财务经验加分,有 TMT 行业(科技、媒体、通信)财务经验者优先,持有日本公认会计士(CPA)证书者加分。
