Mission

Maximize COTY corporate values through the formulation and execution of successful marketing strategies for assigned brand(s)

Build consumer &customer preferred brand. Develop brand marketing plans working closely with Asia regional marketing in order to grow new users and win at retail. Define & deliver business sufficiency to win with retail customers/channels and maximize growth in sales, value share, and profit margin.

Essential Functions

  • Maximize brand equity and brand contribution to Luxury Beauty business by continuously evolving/innovating the marketing mix
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to build long-term brand loyalty and attracting new customers for assigned brand(s)
  • Create consumer experience and satisfaction for assigned brand(s)
  • Engage and develop an assigned marketing team for delivering the mission
  • Responsible product category: Luxury Product
  • Full brand responsibility across all channels with the market / cluster
  • Brand master plans for 24 months
  • Typically manages a multi-functional team including local function working closely with regional and global marketing teams
  • Key Role & Responsibilities

  • BRAND MANAGEMENT
  • Business Planning & Strategies. Develop and implement brand marketing strategy and plans including new initiatives, media plans, PR, and promotions of assigned brands .
  • Product Portfolio Management. Manage product portfolio ensuring that all launches are strategic, sustainable, addressing market demands, and strengthening the brands' positioning. Closely working with global/APAC marketing team.
  • Forecasting. Support new product forecasting by determining nationwide demand on a per-SKU level, after detailed monthly analysis of historical sales, stock levels, and upcoming brand activities and trends, that lead to the achievement of the brand's total target. Plan and manage discontinuation plan considering shelf layout change timing.
  • Pricing. Analyze competitors and propose optimal pricing considering brand positioning.
  • Business Analysis. Analyze sales and other business indicators to ensure that the brand's tactics are working towards the achievement of total brand targets.
  • In-store Visual Merchandising. Manage annual in-store merchandising plan as well as promotion plan to support new launces, promote key products. Track productivity of in-store execution.
  • Market and Competitor Understanding. Provide monthly reports and competitor analysis of the market place. Analyze market trends and sales potential and provide input for forecasting.
  • Budget Management. Build and control marketing budget such that each expense is maximized and aligned towards the achievement of the brands' over-all KPIs
  • 2. NEW BRAND LAUNCH

  • Market Entry Strategy. Work with GM / Regional VP in identifying and executing the most effective strategies in launching and building new brands in the market.
  • Essential requirement for success

  • At least 5 years of marketing experience in Beauty, of which at least 3 years are in Cosmetic or Beauty industry
  • High-learning agility with humbleness
  • Highly analytical and organized
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • High level interpersonal and working skill with external partner
  • Project management skills
  • Team management skills
  • Ability to see the big picture as well as the little details
  • Team player, proactive, self-motivated
  • Languages: Japanese and English required
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, and Word
